I never usually have all my mods active at once. I have a save file that I have just for the Pufferhead pack, I have a very specific storyline going and I don’t want that messed up with Wicked Whims or MCCC, but that story I only play every once in a blue moon. I almost always use MCCC and UI Cheats for every save, but the others I cut and paste from backup to live as I want to use them. I keep all my mods folders in a separate file OUTSIDE the sims file called backup sims mods. I also have a few folders for specific creators if I use a lot of their stuff. TinyEx - tiny living expanded cc stuff pack. Pufferhead - the Harry Potter based stuff pack. NO sub folders within WW or it doesn’t always work correctly.
This includes the base script mod, animations, any rigs, additional cc clothes, sex toys, etc. WW - everything needed to run Whicked Whims. UI Cheats - everything need to run UI Cheats Extension. So I have several folders inside my mods folders with titles that state exactly what is each folder.Įxamples: MCCC - everything needed to run Master Control Command Center. Those folders should not (and most CAN NOT) have other folders.
The mod folder for the Sims4 can have folders in it.
